Welcome to the Baby Cyrus Foundation

The Baby Cyrus Foundation was born from an experience that no loving family should ever have to endure. In 2022, an infant named Cyrus was forcibly separated from his parents after a dispute surrounding his medical care escalated into government intervention. His family fought to bring him home, thousands of people rallied around them, and the story of Baby Cyrus awakened people across the country to just how quickly the enormous power of government and institutional authority can be brought against an ordinary family.

Today, the Baby Cyrus Foundation exists to transform that experience into a lasting force for good. We are dedicated to protecting children, preserving families, defending parental rights and due process, exposing abuses of governmental and institutional authority, and helping families who find themselves confronting systems far more powerful than they are. Through advocacy, education, investigation, legal support, public-interest reporting, charitable assistance, and institutional reform, our purpose is to ensure that the suffering of one family becomes the protection of many. What happened to Baby Cyrus cannot be undone, but because of his story, we can work to make sure that other children and families do not have to face the same battle alone.
